What are that two balls on the right shoulder? |
For the first time in a long while I see a Sideshow piece for a fair price. It’s a pity it’s one that doesn’t interest me at all. Hulk’s hair is just too weird and so is the anatomy, the right shoulder specifically. But this Diorama has everything to fly off quickly. Many already desired it since its SDCC debut but everybody was expecting an extortive price, what was not the case. At all.
Cool exclusive. I wont mention the head fit. Ops, I just did. |
What nobody was expecting was an exclusive classic Wolverine head as a great bonus. I can see why this is a no-brainer pick up for any Marvel fan. It’s just that I’m very selective about the statues I pick. And Hulk doesn’t do the cut for me. Wolverine is cool and all, the base is good as well, the coloring is top notch, It’s based on a famous comic book cover, but Hulk ruins it for me. I know I’ll get bashed because of my opinion about the green giant but this won’t impede anybody to buy this. The main feature for me is that the price is right; nor too low nor too high, just spot on. And from certain angles, I must admit, it’s a stunning piece. But not from the main display angle.
Pretty cool from this angle. |
You see the Hulk’s hair is an issue by the movement effect they use heavily on the divulgation image (where they also pick an angle where the shoulder doesn’t look so strange). I’m picky, I’m sorry. Ok. That's it. Go pre-order it now.
What's the price!!! lol
